Here are the results, replays, and photos from the second round of The Oppositelock Forza 6 Endurance Championship at Watkins Glen. In addition, the current points standings are in this post, as well as a few notes for the next round in March.
Here are the links to the replays, in case you missed the race. Special thanks to xmrplanktonx and Chewbakkah for streaming the race. It was long and a bit messy at times, but it was also a lot of fun. We lost a few people along the way, but endurance racing is not without its casualties.

I think it is safe to say that this race did not go quite as smoothly as Daytona did. The main issue was the mics, which for some reason still do not work quite right in game chat. The multiple parties was good for communication with one half of the field, but the lack of communication with the other half led to some issues, especially for the start. For the next race, it will be best to just stay in game chat rather than mess with multiple parties again, unless I can track down an app of some kind that allows huge conference calls between people. There were also some incidents with the GT cars during the race. I am not calling out anyone in particular and am just going to attribute it to the multiple parties and possible lack of communication.
For the next race, expect another round of re-balancing for the build rules, although not as drastic this time. The only real changes will be the addition of the Porsches and the removal of the rotary powered Mazda Lola. Nevertheless, make sure your build is correct for the race. As for the date of the race, at the moment it looks like the only time I will be available to host, and the only weekend that isn’t conflicting with the touring car series that is doable, is the Saturday before Easter. I expect that this might generate some conflicts since you all may be doing things with your families, but I’m not sure what else to do. At the very least, the track conditions will be put up to a vote, so now we have the first opportunity for a wet weather race, which would probably be a bit messy. But if you all want to subject yourselves to that, you can vote for it in the first post for March’s race, which will be up later this week. One last note, I will also be updating the rules for this series to make mention of track limits and the very likely possibility of the races becoming lap based instead of time based. I will include the semi-TL;DR in the same post as the polls, but the full version will be in the original rules post.
Well, it was a bit messy, but overall I thought this last race was fun. Hopefully the next race goes a bit more smoothly. Unless it is in the rain. Then I just hope I finish with both wing mirrors.
