THOUGHTS AND COMMENTS

This race wasn’t quite as clean as Sebring was, but I still think that the race went well overall. I’m pretty sure everyone was involved in at least one crash at some point in the race. However, besides the initial lobby settings problems, there were no major network, technical, or communication issues. The TeamSpeak server worked great again, and all of the driver to driver communications were very good. There were some cases where people could not see someone else’s car, but as far as I can tell it did not have an impact on the results.

On the subject of messy races, the next race will be at the Nurburgring, as in the full circuit. I need to test and see if the LMPs can do more than one lap of the full circuit, otherwise it will just be Nordschleife. This race has the potential to be the most difficult race of the series, even more so than Le Mans. I will put weather conditions up to a vote, but I highly recommend that we stick to day racing. Its also worth noting that both LMPs and GTs will need to exercise extra caution, but that will be discussed further in the posts for the next race. As for the date, I actually have quite a few potential days lined up. Right now, my best options are either the 14th or the 7th if people are willing to run the race that early in the month. Those Saturdays may be out of the question though depending on when Viggen is running his V8 Supercars series. Therefore, I also have some Sundays lined up, namely the 8th, 15th, and 29th if people are willing to run on a Sunday. For the build rules, I honestly don’t know if there will be any changes. I’m still going to test the cars, but its hard to be consistent on this track so I may just leave the builds as is. There may be more cars added with the May DLC though.

Well, it was a bit messy, but it was still a good race. The Nismo took me farther than I ever thought it would and got a podium. Now I just need to take it to number 1...
